Sagar (sagar news)। Preparations for the Surkhi Assembly by-election to be held on November 3, 2020 are on full swing. There are a total of 2 lakh 5 thousand 388 registered voters in Surkhi Assembly constituency. Total voters include one lakh 11 thousand 696 males and 93 thousand 679 females and 13 other voters.
Collector and District Election Officer Deepak Singh informed that preparations are going on at every level in view of the by-elections to be held next month in Surkhi Assembly. Voters are being made aware under sweep activities. All the precautions related to the guidelines of Kovid-19 will be ensured at every polling station.
Detailed guidelines have been given to the polling parties in this regard. Every polling station will have a system of washing hands or sanitizing, measuring temperature by thermal scanner.
