Gyanodaya Award to Dr. Sanjeev Saraf for Digital Preservation of Manuscripts

Sagar (sagarnews.com). Dr. Sanjeev Saraf, an alumnus of Dr. Harisingh Gour University and Senior Deputy Librarian of Banaras Hindu University, has been selected for the Gyanodaya Award for the year 2021.

Dr. Saraf will be awarded the Gyanodaya Award in recognition of his services in the work of digital conservation of culture and manuscripts through libraries. Twenty one thousand rupees, shawl and quince will be awarded as prize.

This award is given every year since 1998 to a person who has contributed to the promotion of Indian culture.

Earlier, The meeting of the jury to announce the Gyanodaya Award instituted by Dr. Surajmal Bobra in collaboration with Devi Ahilya university research center Kundkund Jnanpith, was chaired by the Vice Chancellor of Indore University, Prof. Presided over by Renu Jain.
