Sagar (sagar news)। New guidelines have been issued by the Home Department to prevent corona virus infection during religious programs and festivals.
Additional Chief Secretary, Home Dr. Rajesh Rajaura said that according to the new order, tableau makers and organizers will not allow devotees and visitors to gather at the narrow place, social distancing must be ensured.
The Home Department has scrapped an earlier order today by issuing a new order regarding statues to be installed in various public places and the height of Tajias. Dr. Rajaura has said that with the end of height restrictions, permission has been given to place 30 by 45 feet pandals in place of 10 by 10 feet as previously advised.
Dr. Rajaura has said that the idol immersion will be done by the respected organizing committees. Only a group of 10 people will be allowed to take the idols to the immersion site. For this, the organizers will have to take permission from the district administration separately.
The decentralized system of immersion can be considered by the District Peace Committee and District Crisis Management Company. Dashahra precessions and religious-social events will also be banned. There will also be no permission for the immersion ceremony.
Dr. Rajaura informed that the symbolic ceremony of traditional Shri Ram procession will be allowed before the Ravana Dahan. The program of Ramleela and Ravana Dahan will be organized with the prior approval of the Collector.
The program can be conducted in the open ground with the observance of the conditions of face mask and social distancing. Guidelines issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court regarding playing loud speakers at Durga Puja and Ravana Dahan program must be complied with.
To prevent Kovid infection in public places district collectors have been asked to ensure strict compliance of the instructions issued.
As per the order issued by the Home Department along with the state government from time to time visitors at Durga Pandal will have to wear face cover/masks, maintain social distancing and use sanitisers in public programs in pandals, immersion events, Ramleela and Ravana Dahan
Dr. Rajaura told that in view of Kovid infection, other instructions issued will also have to be strictly followed. If not following the instructions, legal action will be taken.
