Sagar (sagar news)। The process of submitting nomination forms will begin with the notification on 9 October for the by-election in Surkhi Assembly constituency of Sagar district under Assembly by-election-2020. Nomination papers will be submitted to the subdivisional officer’s office at Rahatgarh from 11 am to 3 pm.
On the instructions of Collector and District Election Officer Deepak Singh the process of submitting nomination papers will be completed by Returning Officer Ramesh Pandey and all the preparations for filing nomination forms have been completed.
Returning Officer Ramesh Pandey said that the applicant will have to attach a certified copy of the voter list along with the nomination papers. As per the instructions of the Election Commission, the candidates coming to submit the nomination papers will have to follow One Plus Two under the Kovid-19 guide line. That means only two people can accompany a candidate while submitting nomination papers.
Mr. Pandey said, The number of vehicles going for enrollment will also be limited to a maximum of two. He informed that in the process of submitting nomination papers, instructions given by the Election Commission and Kovid-19 guide line will be fully followed.
He said, Physical distancing will be followed by all the candidates and other persons coming to the Returning Office’s office. It will Also be ensured that everyone is wearing a mask. He informed that adequate sanitizer and hand washing has also been arranged in the office.
