Sagar (sagarnews.com). Famous social worker and writer Dr. Neelima Pimpalpure has been selected to represent Madhya Pradesh in the UNESCO World Heritage Convention to be held in New Delhi.
The 46th UNESCO World Heritage Convention is being organized from 21 July to 31 July at Bharat Mandapam under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Culture of the Government of India and UNESCO. It will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The convention will be attended by dignitaries from all over the world who have worked to preserve and protect heritage, ancient monuments, their culture. Five representatives have been selected from each state of India for this convention. Dr. Neelima Pimpalpure has been selected from Madhya Pradesh.
It is worth noting that to take the heritage and culture of Bundelkhand to the world level, Dr. Neelima Pimpalpure has illustrated the valuable heritage through her book Bundelkhand – The Heartbeat of India. Through this book, the ancient forts, temples and culture of Bundelkhand are getting recognition all over the world.
